2024 Asia Gaming Awards with Macau-linked honourees

Some Macau-linked companies and personalities were honored at this year’s Asia Gaming Awards.

The ASEAN Gaming Summit 2024, hosted by Asia Gaming Brief, wrapped up its three-day stint in Manila, Philippines, yesterday, boasting a turnout of almost 1,600 participants.

The three-day summit included attendees hailing from a multitude of locales such as Macau, Armenia, Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Cambodia, India, Germany, the UK, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Singapore.

Of the gaming operators with a presence in the Macau SAR, Melco Resorts & Entertainment received one of the awards handed by this year’s Asia Gaming Awards. taking home the Best Responsible Gaming Program, in a ceremony held at the Shangri-La The Fort Manila Hotel.

Lorraine Koo, who previously held executive positions in Macau with Galaxy Entertainment Group, Meg-Star, and The 13 Hotel, was one of the three personalities awarded with an Outstanding Leader Award. Koo is currently the COO of the Philippines junket operator Dowinn Group.
